A Warm Welcome to our new Resident Liaison Officer, Melissa Buckley
At Starfish Construction, our projects span many diverse sectors, including commercial, residential and mixed-use. Some of these projects involve direct communication with property residents, and we ensure a seamless, open and honest channel of information between us, our customers and the residents.
Our projects throughout the UK bring many long-term benefits to our customers and their clients, the residents. Whilst we are creating more visually appealing, better environments and safer buildings long term through our design and operations, we never forget how important it is to ensure minimal disruption and mitigate short-term risks.
We want to take this opportunity to introduce our audiences to our new Resident Liaison Officer, Melissa Buckley. Melissa will be an integral and essential addition to our team.
Melissa brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and management to the company operations. Having held several positions in customer-facing service roles over the past 15 years, and with previous construction sector experience, Melissa has supported organisations across both public and private sectors.
Commenting on the appointment of Melissa, Starfish Construction Group Associate Director of Projects, Joe Fay, commented:
“We are delighted to have secured Melissa to our team. She brings a wealth of knowledge, processes and management to our projects. Joe continued:
“We are continually building our teams across all divisions, and Melissa is one of several new additions to the business. Her excellent customer-facing experience, supporting organisations including: Oldham Council, First Choice Homes Oldham, Housing 21, and Regenda Homes, was appealing to us as a business. Additionally, her extensive knowledge within the construction industry and including rainscreen cladding operations added further value.”
Melissa will manage all critical aspects of data compiling, communication and reporting between the Starfish Construction management team and operatives, our customers and residents.
On her appointment, Melissa commented:
“I am delighted to join Starfish Construction. Even at this early stage, it is evident how much emphasis Starfish Construction places on quality and safety throughout projects. That makes a Resident Liaison role simpler. I am here to help the business, but I am also passionate about delivering good relationships between the company, our customers and of course the residents.”
“My role is essential in ensuring the short-term disruptive nature of construction be minimised, collaborative and mitigate risk.
