Coronavirus Action Plan Update 5th January 2021
We'd like to start by wishing you, your family and colleagues a Happy New Year and prosperous 2021.
Following the UK & Scottish Governments guidance update of the 4th January 2021, means that we continue to live and work in unprecedented times, and everyone's health and safety is of paramount importance.
Starfish Construction has implemented a robust Management Plan to manage and control our company's approach to the ever-changing Coronavirus emergency, currently impacting the world.
We are pleased to inform you that our offices and sites are fully operational and safe due to our continued health and safety management. Our robust Covid-19 safety measures ensure processes that were put in place last year will allow us to keep projects on track whilst protecting people's health and safety.
Our Number One Priority is to safeguard public health. Our actions follow the UK & Scottish Governments, Public Health Bodies and the World Health Organisation advice. Whilst taking all the necessary precautions, we remain entirely focused on providing our clients with a Safe and Quality service.
Actions To Date
We have provided our employees with advice and instructions on the following key issues:
- Keeping our offices and sites as hygienically clean as possible.
- Maintaining social distancing, where practical, in offices and on sites.
- Cancelling or postponing all non-essential meetings.
- Conducting as many of our essential meetings as possible using online meeting platforms.
- Restricting office visits by our Supply Chain Members to essential visits only.
- Reducing the number of staff attending office meetings.
- Restricting staff travel.
Our Plan Moving Forward
While providing our safety-critical services to clients, we will continue to comply with Government Advice to ensure that their properties are wind and watertight and safe from hazardous building materials and components.
This situation is changing rapidly with new data, information and advice emerging daily. We will act promptly to adapt our robust plans to recognise the changing environment.
We are fully committed to maintaining the highest levels of service possible, whilst minimising the health risks to all people touched by our activities.
