Congratulating Joe Fay on achieving his Association for Project Management Membership

Joe Fay, Starfish Construction's Associate Director of Projects, recently demonstrated that culture and achieved the Association for Project Management membership. The organisation is the only chartered body for the project profession, with over 35,000 individual members and more than 450 organisations participating in their Corporate Partnership Programme.
As an educational charity, they are committed to promoting the value of project management to improve project outcomes for the benefit of society - certainly something that mirrors our approach as a business.
On the membership criteria and award, Joe Fay commented, "I'm delighted to become a full member of the Association for Project Managers. I had to choose ten competencies, five core and five optional and write a STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) synopsis on what I do or have done on each one. It required around 250 words for each, and including research took me around six months. It was a commitment, but certainly, one worth doing, and the work meant sacrificing a lot of weekends.”
